Global Title Races
As the new season is kicking off in Europe, across South America, Asia & Scandinavia there are some title races coming to a conclusion and they're nothing short of nail biting.

In Brazil, Fortaleza lead the way after an impressive season so far but Botafogo are hot on their heels with the two still to play each other later this month. Both clubs usually find themselves battling in mid-table and the three behind them will be hoping their experience will give them the edge. Palmeiras & Flamengo are only 3 points behind with Sao Paulo a further 2 points behind them.
Fortaleza are favorites and if they can keep this form going then that will be confident of bringing home the Brazilian title.

In Korea, with four games to go there are 6 points separating the top six teams. Gangwon lead the way and are favorites for the title. However their game with Ulsan HD
in the penultimate game of the season will be the title decider.
Of the top six Pohang Steelers have the easiest fixtures as they play four teams inside the bottom five with an expected maximum points to be taken. However they need a 6 point swing and surely that will be too much with only 12 available?

In Japan, it's going to go to the wire with 10 games to play and 6 points between the top five teams. Sanfrecce
Vs Machinda Zelvia and Gamba Osaka on the last day of the season are the two stand or fixtures and will go a long way to deciding where the title is going to end up. Defending champions Vissel Kobe will be feeling confident, and if I was a betting man, I would be backing them to overcome everyone and finish on top again.
And finally......
Shanghai Port in China currently top the table and are set to become champions of they can remain unbeaten fire the remaining 3 games.
In Cambodia, Svay Rieng, Crown and Nagaworld are going to have a 3 horse race for the title although with only 3 games played it's a bit early to be calling it.
Breidblik in Iceland are 3 points clear with two games to go and could bring home the title for the first time in over a decade.
